Legal
Terms
Version of 6 November 2026
These terms apply to the app and website of Edits4All, from Edits4All B.V. By creating an account you agree to them. What we do with your data is in our privacy policy.
Who may use the app
You must be 16 or older. If you use the app for your business, you agree to these terms on behalf of that business.
You sign in with a code we send to your email address, or with Apple. Keep your email and your phone to yourself: what happens with your account is your responsibility. One account per person.
What the app does
The app uses AI to make a short video from your own clips: cuts, captions, a title, stickers and a video description. After that you can change everything yourself.
AI sometimes makes mistakes, for example in a caption, a product name or a fact in a script. So always check your short before you post it. You decide what you post.
We keep improving the app. Features can change, be added or go away.
Plans
A plan gives you a number of credits every week. What is left at the end of the week does not carry over to the next week.
You pay monthly, or yearly with 20% off. A yearly plan is paid in advance, all at once. You then get just as many credits per week as with monthly payment.
Every plan starts with 3 days free, with 100 credits. That is once per person. If you don’t cancel during the trial, the plan continues after it and you make your first payment.
Your plan renews itself by a month or a year each time, until you cancel. You can cancel any time, also during the trial, at no cost. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
In the app, Apple and Google handle payment, renewal and cancelling; their terms apply as well. Prices are shown in the app and include VAT. If a price changes, you hear about it in advance, and the new price only applies from your next period.
Credits
A new short costs 10 credits per minute of clips, counted per second and rounded up to whole credits (30 seconds costs 5 credits). A script with product information costs 3 credits, another version for the same product 1 credit. Edits, titles by the AI, choosing another style and trying again are free.
A short only costs credits once it is ready. Until then the credits are set aside. If the short fails or you stop it, it costs nothing.
You can buy extra credits when you have a plan (also during the trial). They never expire and you keep them when your plan stops. We use your credits of the week first, then your extra credits.
Credits are not money: you can’t exchange them for money or move them to someone else.
Refunds and cooling-off period
Used credits are not refunded. Refunds of a payment in the app follow the rules of Apple or Google, and you ask them there.
For digital services in the EU you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period. Because you get the credits and the service right away, we ask at checkout whether you agree to immediate delivery. You then lose the cooling-off period for what has already been delivered. [To be checked.]
If the app does not work as promised because of a mistake on our side, let us know. We’ll find a solution together, such as giving your credits back.
Your own videos
Your videos stay yours. You only allow us to store and edit them as far as the app needs: making and showing your short, sharing it with a share link if you want, and helping you when you ask. That permission ends when you delete the video or your account.
The shorts the app makes for you are yours too. You may use them as you like, also for advertising and sales. What the app adds, such as fonts, stickers and sounds, you may use as part of your shorts. That goes for stock videos from Pixabay too, under Pixabay’s licence: use them in your shorts, but don’t sell or share them on their own. [To be checked: licences.]
Every plan comes with storage for your shorts: Starter 5 GB, Standard 25 GB and Pro 100 GB. When your storage is full, we delete your oldest short; from 80% the app tells you. We keep your original clips for 30 days after the upload; after that you can no longer edit a short. How long we keep what is in the privacy policy. Save the shorts you want to keep to your photos.
What is and isn’t allowed
Only upload videos you hold the rights to and that the people in them agreed to. Watch out for music in your clips too: it often has rights on it.
Don’t make anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexual or misleading, and nothing that infringes someone else’s rights, such as a trademark or copyright.
Advertising a product, for example via TikTok Shop or as an affiliate? Then follow the platform’s rules and the advertising rules: make clear that it is an ad and don’t promise anything the product doesn’t deliver. Check facts and claims from a script before you use them.
Don’t misuse the app: no hacking, no overloading, no automated scraping and no fake accounts.
If you don’t follow these rules, we may remove content, block features or close your account. If it is not serious, we warn you first.
TikTok, YouTube and other apps
The app gets your short ready for TikTok or YouTube. You post it yourself, in that app, and the rules of TikTok or YouTube apply there. We are not responsible for what those platforms do with your video, for example if they remove it or show it less.
Share links
With a share link, anyone who has the link can watch your short. So only share it with people who may see it. You can share a draft version with a watermark. If you switch the link off or delete the short, the link stops working.
Affiliate codes
When a friend uses your affiliate code, you both get 150 bonus credits once that friend makes their first real payment for a plan (after the trial). Only trying it, or cancelling during the trial, earns nothing. The code is random and says nothing about you. One code per person, not your own code and no fake accounts. Abuse voids the bonus credits. We may change or end this offer; credits you already got are yours to keep.
Availability
We do our best to keep the app working well, but sometimes it is briefly unavailable, for example for maintenance or because of an outage. A short that fails because of an outage costs no credits. Keep your own copy of shorts that matter to you: save them to your photos.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: cancel your plan and delete your account in the app (Profile, at the bottom). We then delete your data as described in the privacy policy. Any credits you still had are then lost.
We may close your account if you seriously break these terms. If we stop the app, we tell you at least 30 days in advance, so you can save your shorts, and we refund the part of a yearly plan you have not used yet. [To be checked.]
Liability
We are liable for damage you suffer because we don’t keep to these terms, up to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as missed sales or views, nor for what you do with or post of your shorts yourself.
These limits don’t apply if we caused the damage on purpose or through gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them. Your rights as a consumer always remain. [To be checked.]
Our app
The app, the website, the name Edits4All, the logo and the technology behind them are ours. You may use the app as long as you have an account, for yourself or for your business. You may not copy, resell or imitate it.
A few parts are made by others, used with their permission: the animated emojis are Noto Emoji Animation by Google (licence CC BY 4.0, creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0; we only change their size), the 3D icons are Fluent UI Emoji by Microsoft (MIT licence) and the product icons are Material Symbols by Google (Apache 2.0). The fonts each have their own open licence (SIL Open Font License or Apache 2.0).
Changes
We may change these terms, for example when the app or the law changes. For important changes we let you know at least 30 days in advance, in the app or by email. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of that country’s consumer law. If you have a complaint, email us first; we reply within 14 days. If we can’t work it out together, you can go to the competent court in the Netherlands or in your own country.
Buying on the website
On edits4all.com you can buy extra credits when you have a plan (also during your free trial days). Prices are in euros and include VAT. Your credits are on your account right after payment and never expire, not even when your plan ends.
Because you get the credits right away, we ask for your consent at checkout to deliver them immediately. This means the 14-day right of withdrawal that the law otherwise gives you for digital content no longer applies. [To be checked.]
You can start your plan in the app or on the website. In the app, Apple and Google handle payment, renewal and cancelling, and their payment and refund rules apply. If you start it on the website, you pay through our payment provider and cancel on your account page. [To be checked: which payment provider, and the right of withdrawal for a plan.]
